Lux is a Small Business Administration certified HUBZone firm, making us eligible for HUBZone sole source awards, HUBZone set-asides, and a 10% price preference in full and open competitions.
Federal agencies can award Lux a HUBZone sole source contract for up to $4M per contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 19.1306. Awarding contracts to Lux helps agencies meet the HUBZone contracting goal of 3%, which most agencies fail to meet. The federal government awarded just 1.67% of contracts to HUBZone firms in 2016.
Teaming partners should note that as HUBZone business, Lux receives a 10% price preference in full and open competitions in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.1307.
