New Orientation Videos for the Belmont Forum
Lux recently produced two online orientation videos for the Belmont Forum under a contract with the National Science Foundation. The Belmont Forum is international consortium that funds environmental change research.
The first video, The Belmont Forum: An Introduction to the Structure of the Belmont Forum, provides an overview of the Belmont Forum’s mission and organizational structure. The second video, Tutorial for Potential Applicants, highlights funding opportunities and eligibility requirements, as well as the proposal and award process for collaborative research action calls. The videos are available on the Belmont Forum website.
For each video, Lux clarified the target audience and simple learning objectives. A presentation was developed with attractive and informative charts. We recorded audio of the Belmont Forum Communications Director giving the presentation for each slide. After converting the presentation and audio into one video file, we optimized the sound quality. The video was uploaded to YouTube and then linked to the Belmont Forum online resource library and appropriate webpages.
